It may also help protect against lipid peroxidation.*

What Is The Source?

Horse chestnut extract is derived from Aesculus hippocastanum seed and standardized to contain 20-22% triterpene saponins as escin. Ascorbyl palmitate is derived from corn dextrose fermentation and palm oil.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or Precautions?

Not to be taken by pregnant or lactating women. Noted adverse effects can include dizziness, nausea, headache, or rash. Some physicians recommend that patients with liver or kidney disease should avoid taking horse chestnut extract. Consult your physician for more information.

Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions?

Individuals taking this product with anti-hyperglycemic medications may require blood glucose monitoring. Horse chestnut extract may also be contra-indicated with blood thinning medications. Consult your physician for more information.
