Mandi enjoys meeting with her patients and creating a warm and focused treatment environment conducive to communication and healing. She provides both therapy and medication for her patients. While she sees most of her patients for both services she does offer each service exclusively. Her patients often report feeling comfortable and at ease building long-lasting therapeutic relationships. Her approach to psychiatry is holistic, in that she treats the whole person.Mandi is a strong advocate for her patient’s needs and goals. Mandi will spend as much time that is needed. Her patients are often those who are in healthcare including nurses, therapists, and first responders. She also has a love and understanding for those with chronic illnesses and pain such as autoimmune disorders and recurrent illnesses. Meredith Hogarty, PMHNP-BC, MSN, RN, MSW: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Meredith is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master's of Science in Nursing and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Meredith also holds a clinical Master's of Social Work degree from Boston College. Meredith specializes in the medication management and psychotherapy of adults, ages 16 and older who are experiencing depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, pregnancy/postpartum depression and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Meredith's special interests include treating patients experiencing chronic depression, excessive worries related to work, health and relationships as well as patients experiencing significant life transitions including young adulthood, pregnancy, new mothers/fathers, marital conflicts, divorce, caregiver stress, grief and loss.Meredith's experience as a nurse practitioner and clinician has allowed her to bring compassion, empathy and medical knowledge to each patient encounter. She views her work with patients as a partnership and strongly believes that each patient is an expert in their own experiences as well as their mental health needs. She works together with her patients to develop a treatment plan involving therapeutic interventions, psychotropic medication and lifestyle changes. She understands the importance of collaborating with primary care providers, therapists and other health care providers in order to create a complete treatment plan. She always takes the time to provide ongoing education on symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options and she is committed to supporting patients on their path toward healing and wellness.
