Digestion GB -
Digestion GB contains a unique mix of enzymes, bile salts, taurine and herbals to promote healthy gall bladder function and lipid utilization in addition to general digestive function.
What Is It?
Digestion GB contains a unique mix of digestive enzymes,
bile salts, taurine and herbal extracts to promote healthy
gallbladder function and fat utilization, in addition to general
digestive function.*
Uses For Digestion GB
Liver and Gallbladder Support: The metabolism of fats
involves emulsification and digestion in a complex
process that requires healthy liver, gallbladder and
pancreas function. Milk thistle, curcumin and taurine promote
liver and gallbladder health and stimulate production and
secretion of bile acids.*
Promote Digestion: Bile acids, also provided in the form
of ox bile extract, support the emulsification of fats
necessary for digestion. The digestive enzymes included
in this formula are active in a broad pH range to support
fat, carbohydrate and protein digestion to complement
pancreatic enzyme activity. This formula has enhanced
lipase for extra fat digestion support.*
What Is The Source?
Lipase, protease and amylase are derived from
microbial fermentation. Ox bile extract is bovine derived
and standardized to contain 45-65% total cholic acids.
Taurine is synthetic. Milk thistle extract is derived from
Silybum marianum fruit and standardized to contain 80%
silymarin. Turmeric extract is derived from Curcuma longa
root and standardized to contain 97% curcuminoids.
Ascorbyl palmitate is derived from corn dextrose
fermentation and palm oil. Hypo-allergenic plant fiber is
derived from pine cellulose.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or
Precautions?
In rare cases, curcumin or milk thistle may cause
gastrointestinal upset. Milk thistle should be avoided by
individuals with allergies to members of the aster
(Compositea/Asteraceae) family, daisies, artichoke, kiwi or
thistle. Curcumin should be used with caution in individuals
with bile duct obstruction. If pregnant or lactating, consult
your physician before taking this product.
Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions?
Some studies have reported that milk thistle and curcumin
can affect the way that the liver breaks down medications
metabolized by the cytochrome p450 system, altering the
effects of these medications and possibly the doses needed
for treatment. Curcumin may be contraindicated with blood
thinning medications. Consult your physician for more
information.
